The associated form acts as a request for an upcoming scheduled course and does not constitute an agreement. A signed Student Enrollment Application, payment, and confirmation will still be required. Affiliations with EEI, NECA, or the IBEW should be listed next to company name to ensure requests are routed properly.
Due to the technical nature of the ETD courses, prospective trainers are expected to meet specific criteria. Trainers must not only fulfill OSHA requirements for outreach trainers but also possess the technical experience and background necessary to effectively teach electrical safety topics. These topics include, but are not limited to, grounding and bonding for personnel protection, as well as isolate/insulate techniques. Trainers should have either completed the ETD 10- or 20-Hour Course or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience on the subject.
